In occupational therapy. we works on the key areas that helps children with autism to improve their ability to perform activities of Daily Living skills (DLS/ADL) and enhancing quality of life.

SENSORY PROCESSING :

Helping children process and manage sensory information to reduce immense stimuli and improve their ability to engage their environment.

 ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING (ADL) AND SELF CARE :

Teach them independence in personal care activities such as personal hygiene, feeding, toileting and grooming through task analysis and customised tools.

 FINE AND GROSS MOTOR SKILLS  :

Developing the physical coordination and control needed for task like handwriting, dressing, balancing and other physical activities.

 EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL REGULATION :

Supporting children in development of healthy ways to express feeding, manage stress, build rapport and positive relationship with others .

 COMMAND FOLLOWING :

Develop an ability to understand and execute a given instruction and command by using technique like simple and clear language, using visual AIDS and breakdown activities from whole to part .

VISUAL PERCEPTUAL SKILLS :

Teach them visual perceptual skills like recognizing letters, understanding spatial relationship and coordination movements.
